Developer accounts

Add a client website

Developer account owners and admins can create a client website while the account remains below its site allowance.

Creating a site prepares its CMS database, private configuration, uploads area and dashboard access. Wait for the completed redirect before closing the page.

Create the site

  1. Open Add Site or select Add New Site on the developer dashboard.
  2. Enter the Website name.
  3. Enter a Custom domain only when it is already known, or leave it empty to use the generated Nune URL.
  4. Optionally choose an Internal client plan.
  5. Select Create Site once and wait for the dashboard to confirm completion.

For a custom domain, enter only example.com without https:// or a page path. Adding the domain here does not move its DNS; Site Settings provides the connection instructions afterwards.

Internal client plan

An internal client plan is your own service package and billing reference. It does not alter the developer account's Nune subscription, site allowance or automatic Stripe billing.

You can leave this unset and assign a plan later in Site Settings.

What happens after creation

The site is selected automatically and appears on the developer dashboard. Existing developer-account users are linked according to their site access rules.

The initial record uses the developer account details, so complete the client handover steps before sending access:

  1. Open Settings and enter the client's contact, recipient and billing information.
  2. Connect the domain and integrations when required.
  3. Open Team and add the client with only the CMS areas they need.
  4. Copy the displayed temporary password securely.
  5. Test the displayed Client Login link.

Do not send your own developer password to a client.

If creation is unavailable

The current Nune plan may have reached its site limit, or your role may not be allowed to create sites. An owner/admin can change the plan or create the site.
