Developer accounts

Manage a developer team

Developer Team controls access to the developer account and its collection of client sites. It is different from a client's Team Access, which controls one website and its individual CMS permissions.

Only developer account owners and admins can manage the developer team.

Add a colleague

  1. Open Developer Team.
  2. Enter their name and email address.
  3. Choose Admin or Member - client site management.
  4. Choose access to all current and future sites or selected client sites only.
  5. If using selected access, tick at least one site.
  6. Select Add Team Member.
  7. Copy the temporary password shown after saving and send it securely.

If the email already belongs to the same developer account, Nune updates that person's access rather than creating a duplicate.

Roles

Admin can manage developer settings, the developer team, site creation and all client sites. Give this role only to someone trusted to administer the whole account.

Member can manage the client sites assigned to them. Members cannot manage developer-account settings, create sites or administer the developer team.

Website access

  • All current and future client sites automatically includes newly created sites.
  • Selected client sites only restricts a member to the sites you tick.

Use a site's separate Team Access screen when you need finer CMS permissions such as Posts, Products or Orders.

Update or remove access

Under Current Team, change a member's role, site scope, selected sites or status, then select Save.

Disabled members cannot use their developer access but remain recorded. Non-admin members can be removed completely. Owners and admins have additional protection, and Nune will not allow the last active owner to lose owner access.

You cannot change or remove your own developer access from this page.
