Edit the homepage

Use Settings > Homepage to control what visitors see at your main website address.

Choose the homepage content

You can use the built-in homepage or select an existing page, post, product or gallery as the homepage. Select the source you want and save before testing the public home address.

Configure the built-in homepage

  1. Choose the hero background type: image, video, random images, or random image plus video where available.
  2. Select up to eight hero images from the Media Library. When using a single hero image, the first selected image is used.
  3. Select a hero video if required. The selected hero images also provide a fallback if the video cannot play.
  4. Edit the homepage text and insert shortcodes where needed.
  5. Save the homepage and refresh the public site.

Only populated hero selections are used, so empty image positions are ignored.
