Configure shop settings and shipping

Set currency and tax before taking orders, then create shipping rules for products that need delivery.

Currency and tax

  1. Open Shop > Settings.
  2. Choose the Shop currency.
  3. Enable tax calculations when required and enter the tax rate.
  4. Choose whether entered product prices already include tax or have tax added at checkout.
  5. Choose whether tax applies to shipping and save.

Changing currency changes the symbol and currency sent to Stripe. It does not convert existing product, coupon, sale or shipping amounts, so review every monetary value afterwards.

Nune calculates the rate entered, but the shop owner is responsible for using the correct tax treatment.

Create shipping rules

  1. Open Shop > Shipping Profiles.
  2. Create or edit Shipping Zones. Enter comma-separated country codes such as GB or FR,DE,ES; use * for the rest of the world.
  3. Create an active profile such as Standard Products.
  4. Add a shipping option for each relevant zone.
  5. Enter its service name, base price, extra-item price, estimated days and sort order.
  6. Save the profile and options.

Assign the profile in a product's Shipping section. A variation can use the main profile or select another one.

Test the basket with addresses from every supported zone. If no active option matches the basket and country, checkout cannot offer delivery.
