Pages and content

Create or edit a page

Pages are suited to lasting website content such as About, Services, FAQs or policies. You can create a page from scratch or open an existing page and update it.

Create a page

  1. Open Pages > Add Page.
  2. Enter the Title. Nune uses it to suggest the page address.
  3. Check the Slug if it is shown. This is the final part of the page address; keep it short and use words separated by hyphens.
  4. Add a short Excerpt if you want a summary to appear in listings or search results.
  5. Add the main page text in Content.

The initial order follows Settings > Default Content Layout. Use the excerpt arrows to choose whether the excerpt appears before or after the main content. This applies at every screen size for a full-width page and when a two-column page stacks on a smaller screen; desktop two-column placement remains unchanged.

  1. Choose a Category, or leave it empty to use Uncategorised.
  2. Choose the page Layout. The default follows your website setting; full width gives the content more horizontal space.
  3. Add a Main Image and optional gallery images from the Media Library.
  4. Complete the SEO title and description when the page needs different search text from its normal title and excerpt.
  5. Make sure the page is active when you are ready for visitors to see it, then create or publish it.

Edit a page

  1. Open Pages > All Pages.
  2. Select the page you want to change.
  3. Make your edits.
  4. Select Update or Save and wait for confirmation.

Changing a page slug changes its address. Avoid doing this after sharing the page unless the old address is redirected.

Format the content

The editor can switch between a visual view and HTML. On smaller screens its formatting controls are kept inside the toolbar menu.

Use Shortcode to add structured content such as columns, images, buttons, galleries and feature sections. Nune inserts the shortcode into the editor; you can then edit its text and options.

Images

The main image is the page's primary image. Gallery images form the additional image set. When a gallery exists, the main image can also appear in the thumbnail strip and all images remain available in the lightbox.

If it does not work

  • If the page cannot be found, check that it is active and that you are opening its saved URL.
  • If an image is missing, reopen the Media Library and confirm the intended item is selected.
  • If the old content remains visible, follow My changes are not showing.
