Create an announcement banner

The announcement banner appears above the public website header and can show up to 12 linked messages.

Create the banner

  1. Open Settings > Announcement Banner.
  2. Select Enable announcement banner.
  3. Choose all pages, only selected pages, or all except selected pages.
  4. Enter each message and its optional link.
  5. Select Add Message when another announcement is needed.
  6. Choose stationary, scrolling or fade display.
  7. Set the speed, font size, background and text colours.
  8. Review the preview and select Save Announcement Banner.

The preview shows the first message and its basic appearance. Website animation starts after saving.

Schedule a message

Open a message's optional Schedule section. You can restrict it by:

  • start and end dates;
  • start and end times;
  • selected days of the week.

Times use the website timezone. Leave all weekdays clear to allow every day. Overnight ranges such as 22:00–02:00 are supported.

Only messages eligible at the time of the page view are displayed. The banner itself must still be enabled.
